Building A Custom Home

Building a custom home is an exciting process from start to finish. In essence, we are building a new home together - as a team. You are making many of the decisions while we provide you with the critical expert assistance needed in making those choices that will ultimately give your new home just the right touches. To remain on top of the many small details of building a custom home, continual communication by email, phone or in-person meetings take place. We know that this period is a tremendously exciting time as you watch your new home become a reality; at the same time, it can be potentially stressful dealing with the many decisions that must made. Design Process

Simon Builders will work closely with you as we build your dream home together. Because the process of building is a complicated matter that requires coordination of many, if a problem arises, we work to satisfy our customers to the best of our ability while still maintaining the integrity of the construction of your home.

For you the homeowner, we simplify the design process as much as possible. Our design coordinator, along with product suppliers who are specialists in their field, will help you along with the many choices that are required in building a house from the ground up. We will use a step by step process that will coordinate all of the design elements to create a beautiful home, and keep you on budget. Valerie, our design coordinator will be your liason throughout the building process.

About Karl Simon - Owner

Karl Simon began his building career in 1967 with the construction of residential homes, as well as several warehouses in Richmond B.C. In the years following, his most notable projects were the nine storey Sundial Place and Sundial at the Park, both located in Vancouver’s West End. Later, a move to enjoy a sunnier climate enabled Karl to focus on his passion of building fine residential homes, mainly in the Blind Bay area of the Shuswap. With a team of hand picked experts in their field, Simon Builders experienced trades work together to create a home for you that will exceed your expectations.
