Q: What is your price per square foot?
In order to answer this question, we need to know specifics in regards to design of the home, size, quality and type of the interior and exterior finishing materials, and the building lot you have in mind, and its topography. For instance, in our local building area, many of the lots are sloped. An experienced builder knows that if large amounts of engineered fill will be required, this can be quite costly. We suggest you make an appointment with us to determine an accurate price for your home. At Simon Builders Ltd., one of the promises we will make is to come in on budget.
Q: What do I need to know about financing and taking possession of my home?
Simon Builders knows that timing is vitally important in planning your move and locking your mortgage. We will specify a firm closing date from the onset and, barring any unforeseen circumstances, will keep to our schedule. Weather, injuries or unavailable materials are factors that can affect building schedules, but you would be notified in advance if there were to be any changes.

Q: Do all home builders issue buyers a 10 Year New Home Warranty?
No. Buying a new home involves making many important decisions. It is important to carefully research all aspects, seek professional advice, and gather as much information as possible about your potential new home before you sign the Agreement of Purchase and Sale. In order to obtain the benefits of a 10 Year New Home Warranty, you will need to confirm:
- the new home as been built by a an approved builder;
- the builder is licensed by the Homeowner Protection Office; and
- 10 Year New Home Warranty coverage has been issued on the new home.

Q: We live out of the area, is it possible to have our home built when we are so far away?
Yes. Once you have chosen your plan and a pre-construction specification contract is complete, we can communicate quite nicely through email, and telephone. We will send photos of your home, during different phases of construction to keep you informed of its progress. A walk through visit prior to closing would be necessary to ensure you are satisfied, as well as familiar with the maintenance of your new home.
